How did you hear about the Animal Rescue Foundation?
Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment to the animal and should not be a spur of the moment decision. It is important to be prepared to exercise your pet appropriately and provide it high quality food, fresh water, warm and comfortable shelter and love and attention. Most of the animals that have come to our shelter are pets that are up for adoption because they have already lost one or more homes and are looking for a loving, understanding and PERMANENT home. Upon approval of this application and adoption of your new pet, you must be financially able to take care of your pet appropriately, including rabies shots as required by Colorado law and any other medical care that is necessary. You must be willing to invest the time necessary to properly train your pet and make all efforts to deal with any behavioral or other issues which may come up. If for some reason you are no longer able to properly care for the rescued pet and have exhausted all resources to amend the situation, your animal must be returned to the Animal Rescue Foundation.
